Increased Public Safety: Approved crucial funding for the first-ever installation of license plate readers (LPRs) in District 6, providing a new and effective tool for law enforcement to deter and solve crimes.
Community-Led Safety Initiatives: Established new community watch groups, empowering residents to take an active role in improving the safety and security of their neighborhoods.
Traffic and Road Improvements: Collaborated with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (DOT) to address new paving projects, install new traffic lights, and reduce speed limits at high-accident intersections, making our roads safer for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Targeted Crime Prevention: Initiated a "First Responders Walk Through" program to actively engage with the community and clean up neighborhood "hot spots" to prevent crime and improve quality of life.
